Water Cooling System
A modern, fully
sealed pressurized water-cooling system. All connection fittings are of quick-release leak
proof type to assist maintenance and roll changing.
Super Rolls
This option is offered for breaks and other
purposes. The special alloy and heat treatment technique allows significant extension of
roll profile wear. In many cases three or four times the life of a conventionally cast
chilled iron roll is achieved. |
Roll Scrapers
As an
alternative to brushes a Roll Scraper package is available. This incorporates a special
hardened and tempered spring carbon steel scraper to clean smooth roll chills. An air
cylinder is fitted to disengage the scrappers when out of grind.
Roll Trolley
The roll trolley is
designed for use with the rollpack to provide a rapid roll change system. |
