The new HTD drive now uses four pulleys instead of three. This significantly increases the belt contact area. This effectively maintains ‘flour release’ with reduction roll passages under high loadings. The larger contact area also results in lower belt tensions being necessary to prevent belt jump on start up. This results in a quieter, more efficient transmission.

The larger ratio of sight feed unit width to roll length ensures even feed distribution for all mill stocks across the full feedroll width. – including the more difficult mill stocks such as coarse breaks.

The direct pneumatic pick ups now pass through the sight feed unit. Drop through configured rolls are also available.

Simple, robust stock level sensing combined with the vari-speed controller ensures smooth and stable feedrate control from grist to grist.

In addition to the Varispeed facility, which comes as standard, Autogap can be fitted as an option and this permits recipe driven control of the roll gap through the use of stepper motors
