Roll refluting is a mainstay of our business, and Satake operates one of the largest roll reconditioning facilties in the UK.

Satake operate two teams:

1) Mechanical Maintenance

The mechanical maintenance team provide services such as roll changes, bearing changes, belt changes, spouting alterations, screen replacement, machine conversions and upgrades.

2) Process Maintenance

The process maintenance team are specialists in sifter maintenance. The service includes strip down, cleaning, replacing burst covers and rebuild. The visit is planned to coincide with the scheduled mill shutdown. The team are also capable of filter bag changes, spout cleaning, etc.
