The Satake In-Line Flake Disrupter SEDB has been developed
to provide a more compact plant layout, by performing the flake disrupter process on stock
whilst it is being pneumatically conveyed.
The material moving through the pins is violently agitated by the speed
vortices and the flakes are reduced to fragments before passing through the outlet.
Any bran particles present are not broken down and therefore the action of
the disrupter does not harm the ash or colour.
A similar machine is the Infestation Destroyer SEDC
designed for installation in finished flour/ingredient blowlines. The violent action of
the machine disintegrates any insects, eggs or larvae present in the flour. Allowing flour
to be safely stored for longer periods, particularly in hot climates.
The machine has a 2 pole motor that directly drives the rotor. The normal rotor contains two rows of manganese steel impactor pins near the outer edge of the disc. In common with other continuous process machines, the SEDC operates most efficiently under even federate conditions. |
