Operation
Brown rice in the hopper flows into the machine when the shutter is opened.
The brown rice is transferred via a screwed iron roller to the milling
chamber, consisting of screen and milling roller, and there it is whitened into white rice
with more lustre and less brokens.
Fan-circulated air minimises temperature rise in the rice grains and also
functions to blow off bran sticking to the rice.
Bran is discharged by the fan through perforations in the screen.
The white rice is cleaned once again at the outlet by suction power of the
fan.
A whitening degree of milled rice can be controlled by weight at the
outlet.
