Satake  exhibited at the TOTAL Processing & Packing Exhibition along side their sister company ESM Ltd. The exhibition was held at the NEC in Birmingham and ran from 29 March to 1 April 2004.

The exhibition was on of the largest to be held at the NEC this year, with around 1,350 companies exhibiting.

Satake took the opportunity of the show to officially launch the new SWEC Water Panel which controls and monitors the flow rate of water and other liquids using all electronic components. Also on show were the SGA Gravity Selector, SPM Pin Mill and PLSB Laboratory Sifter.

The key feature of the stand was the ESM Scanmaster Optical Sorter, that is capable of both visible colour and infrared sorting within a single machine. A continuous conveyor system allowed a sample of maize contaminated with stones, cob and other impurities to be sorted and re-mixed.
