Satake Corporation participated the 17^th Annual Conference of the International Association of Operative Millers (IAOM) Middle East and Africa Division in Marrakech Morocco on the 25^th-28^th September 2005. Over 900 delegates from 57 different countries attended this most important event in the milling calendar.

The Conference focused on both the exhibitors trade stands and the technical papers given by a range of specialists from across the industry. Satake Corporation’s UK Division presented a paper highlighting the latest developments in PeriTec debranning and colour sorting technology applied to durum wheat milling.  

For Satake, the conference collimated in the signing of contracts for PeriTec debranning systems to be installed in Morocco and Algeria . These systems will be applied to produce the very best durum semolina for couscous manufacture.
