SATAKE SRV ROTARY VALVE
The
valve can be supplied with a cast sight feed unit which is also directly
interchangeable with existing units and draws on years of milling systems
experience gained by SATAKE. The
valve is available in both F1 and F3 sizes for complete coverage of existing
applications and greatest versatility when being specified on new systems. Product
Information Whilst
being directly interchangeable with existing valves, the F1 and F3 valves also
draw on the valve specialist experience of DMN-Westinghouse in incorporating the
latest developments in rotary valve design and build. This
allows superior consistency of rotor to bore clearance, more consistent axial
location for the rotor and compliance with the ATEX 94/9/EC directive. The
benefits of this include superior valve sealing, more consistent performance and
silent running, plus the peace of mind that comes with total compliance with all
relevant legislation. The valves can be supplied with close coupled direct drives, ATEX certified if required, for single valve applications, or with twin output shaft rotors for multiple applications using one ganged drive.

The
DMN-Westinghouse designed and built SATAKE SRV type rotary valve is the result
of close collaboration between rotary valve experts DMN-Westinghouse and milling
system experts SATAKE. SATAKE and its predecessors Henry Simon and Robinson
Milling Systems have supplied the F type airlock to mills around the world. The
new valve by DMN-Westinghouse is interchangeable with them, making it perfect
for replacement of worn equipment and spares holdings for existing plants.
