Satake Corporation have
developed specific processes and mill designs for ethanol production.
We have established solutions for milling maize (corn), wheat and barley for
ethanol.
For maize
(corn) over 100 million gallons per year of ethanol is already produced
using the Satake Dry Grain Fractionation
System.
The
Satake PeriTec Debranning System for wheat and barley is also applied in
ethanol production. Removal of much of the
bran before hammer milling increases the
efficiency of the subsequent wet processing. Similarly, where the wheat or
barley is milled using rollermills, the
amount of equipment required in the mill can
be significantly reduced.
