The
SPSB sifter has been designed to give a wide range of capacities to
meet the sifting requirements of the cereal milling industry.
It is
a modular design available in 4, 6 or 8 section units with 16, 24 or 30 sieves per
section. Modular construction makes it easy to position in existing buildings for assembly
in-situ.
It can
be run at various speeds and gyratory circle diameters to suit the type of stock being
sieved.
Standard
or High Capacity sieves, or a combination of both types, can be used in each. Sections can
be split to handle two different material streams. A range of inter-changeable sieve boxes
allows a wide degree of flexibility. Stock flow channels are integral, making it easy to
achieve the flow required by the arrangement of the sieve boxes.
All
types of sifting material can be used; nylon, wire, GGN, stainless steel, carbon,
polyester, etc. The sieve material can be bonded or stapled onto loose-frames which fit
into the sieve boxes. New loose frames can be prepared, tensioned and complete with their
cleaners, ready to be slotted into the sieve boxes. Reducing the downtime required for
repairing worn sieves.
The
machine is suspended on long-life composite pultruded rods or traditional wooden canes.
Steel safety cables at each corner and safety cut-off switches comply with the latest
International Safety Standards.
As
with all Satake products hygiene and sanitation are to the highest standards. Sieve boxes
are lined with wear & infestation resistant Melamine. All doors and end panels are
insulated to prevent internal condensation and dust traps. A smooth exterior allows for
easy cleaning.
